Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Executive is responsible for managing the organization's end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, reconciliations, and statutory compliance. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
- Ensure timely payment to vendors as per agreed credit terms.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Prepare payment proposals through NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, and cheque payments.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Stores, and Operations teams for invoice approvals and GRN matching.
- Perform three-way matching (PO, GRN, Invoice) before processing payments.
- Prepare and reconcile vendor ageing reports.
- Handle employee reimbursements and expense claim settlements.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS,



and other statutory requirements related to vendor payments.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing required documentation.
- Maintain vendor master data in the ERP system.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in the AP function.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com).
- M.Com, MBA (Finance), or CA Inter preferred.
- 57 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance.
- Solid knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally Prime, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
