1. Internal Audit & Compliance
- Conduct planned and surprise internal audits across departments.
- Verify compliance with SOPs, NABH standards, statutory requirements, and management policies.
- Review departmental documentation, records, registers, and reports.
- Identify process gaps, non-conformities, and compliance risks.
2. Quality Management
- Monitor implementation of quality indicators and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Evaluate effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Support NABH/NABL accreditation activities and surveillance audits.
3. Operational Process Review
- Audit patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing, reporting, radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, HR, procurement, and administration processes.
- Assess process efficiency and recommend improvements.
- Ensure proper documentation and record retention practices.
4. Risk Management
- Identify operational, clinical, financial, and compliance risks.
- Recommend risk mitigation measures.
- Follow up on implementation of corrective actions.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare detailed audit reports with observations and recommendations.
- Present findings to management and department heads.
- Track closure of audit observations.
- Maintain audit schedules, checklists, and records.
6. Training & Awareness
- Conduct awareness sessions on SOP compliance and quality standards.
- Guide departments on audit preparedness.
- Support staff in implementing process improvements.
