Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for critically ill patients.
- Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and overall clinical condition.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Operate and monitor ICU equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, cardiac monitors, defibrillators, and syringe pumps.
- Identify and respond promptly to medical emergencies, including cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, and other life-threatening conditions.
- Assist physicians during bedside procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, arterial line placement, and emergency interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, medications, and progress.
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and quality standards.




- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and post-ICU care.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, respiratory therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Ensure safe patient transfers, admissions, and discharges according to established protocols.
- Participate in code blue responses, emergency preparedness, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical and qualified nursing standards.
- Mentor junior nursing staff and support orientation and training of new team members.
- Ensure availability and proper maintenance of ICU equipment and emergency supplies.

Required Qualifications:
- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid State Nursing Council registration.
