The/Nudge is an action institute working to alleviate poverty by building resilient livelihoods through innovation, government partnerships, and community-led development across India.

Role

The/Nudge is hiring a State Lead, Economic Inclusion Program (EIP) to lead its Project Management Unit (PMU) in partnership with the Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ArSRLM). The role will oversee programme strategy, implementation, stakeholder engagement, government coordination, and scale-up of the Graduation Approach to help vulnerable households achieve sustainable livelihoods.

Responsibilities
- Lead The/Nudge's PMU operations in Arunachal Pradesh.
- Drive implementation of the Economic Inclusion Program with ArSRLM.
- Build strong partnerships with government departments and stakeholders.
- Support programme strategy, research, and design for ultra-poor households.
- Ensure effective programme planning,



monitoring, and implementation.
- Enable convergence of livelihood, financial inclusion, and social protection schemes.
- Manage programme outcomes, reporting, documentation, and compliance.
- Support the use of data and technology for programme monitoring.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and government coordination for programme expansion.
- Mentor and build the capacity of programme teams.

Requirements
- Postgraduate degree.
- 12–15 years of experience in livelihoods, rural development, economic inclusion, or government programmes.
- Experience leading multi-stakeholder development programmes.
- Robust understanding of SHGs, community institutions, and State Rural Livelihood Missions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and government engagement skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and leadership abilities.
- Fluency in English and the local language is preferred.
