Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day fabrication shop production activities.
- Ensure timely execution of steel structural fabrication as per drawings and project schedules.
- Coordinate with planning, quality, dispatch, and procurement teams for smooth workflow.
- Monitor productivity, manpower utilization, and machine efficiency.
- Implement production planning and scheduling to meet delivery commitments.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety norms, and fabrication procedures.
- Manage fabrication processes including cutting, fit-up, welding, drilling, and finishing.
- Control production costs and minimize material wastage.
- Guide and supervise supervisors and shop floor workers.
- Review production reports and implement continuous improvement practices.

Required Skills




- Robust knowledge of structural steel fabrication processes.
- Experience handling large fabrication shops and heavy structures.
- Knowledge of welding processes, fabrication drawings, and shop practices.
- Ability to manage large shop floor teams.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with production planning and project-based fabrication work.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in industrial steel structure fabrication, power plant structures, galleries, trusses, heavy fabrication, Technological Structures, duct, silo etc.
- Experience in handling large tonnage fabrication projects.
