TheNextDoorAI builds AI-first products across web, mobile, and desktop, used by thousands of people every day. We're a small, high-ownership team — and this is one of only three core product hires
we're making right now.

If you join, you'll own the APIs, data, infrastructure, and release pipelines everything else is built on — plus the AI layer that makes our products smart.

? Work From Office (Dehradun) | Full-Time | 3–7 Years Experience

What you'll own:

? High-performance FastAPI services & REST APIs in Python

? Database architecture in PostgreSQL (SQLAlchemy + Alembic migrations)

? AWS infrastructure — ECS, S3, CloudWatch, Docker

? CI/CD release pipelines across Web, Mobile (EAS/Play Store), and Desktop (Apple notarization, Windows signing, Tauri auto-updates)

? AI & LLM orchestration — Anthropic, Gemini, Vertex AI (prompts, streaming, cost, latency)

? Third-party integrations — payments, calendar, telephony, email

? Reliability & security — monitoring, backups, zero-downtime deploys

What we're looking for:

✅ 3+ years building scale-ready production backends in Python

✅ Solid relational data modeling, query profiling, ORM experience

✅ Hands-on AWS + Docker deployment experience

✅ A rigorous, pragmatic ownership mindset — you write, test, monitor, and maintain your own code

Nice to have:
desktop/mobile release management, production LLM deployment experience, async Python, Redis/message queues (Celery/RQ/RabbitMQ), Terraform/CloudFormation, WebSockets
