SQL Server Database Administration

Azure Cloud

DevOps
, with hands-on experience in managing mission-critical database environments, automation, and cloud-based infrastructure.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator.
- Strong experience in SQL Server installation, configuration, administration, and upgrades.
- Experience in Azure Cloud services related to SQL Server.
- Good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation.
- Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
- Experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, Replication, Log Shipping, and Clustering.
- Hands-on experience with database security, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Knowledge of PowerShell or scripting for automation.
- Experience working in production support environments with incident management.
- Strong understanding of database migration from on-premises to Azure.
- Positive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or ARM Templates).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
