Assistant Professor – Physics

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Assistant Professor in Physics to teach undergraduate students and contribute to academic, departmental, and institutional activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions in Physics for undergraduate students.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, laboratory manuals, and academic schedules.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
- Prepare question papers, assignments, practical examinations, and internal assessments.
- Evaluate students’ academic performance and maintain accurate academic records.
- Mentor students and provide guidance for academic projects, research work, and competitive examinations.
- Support curriculum development and implementation in accordance with university and UGC guidelines.
- Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, workshops, examinations, and institutional activities.
- Encourage research, innovation,



and practical application of Physics concepts.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment, inventory, and documentation.
- Use digital teaching tools, presentations, simulations, and online learning platforms effectively.

Qualification
- Ph.D. in Physics is mandatory.
- Master’s degree in Physics with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognised university.
- UGC-NET/SET qualification is mandatory.
- The candidate must fulfil the applicable UGC eligibility criteria for appointment as Assistant Professor.

Experience
- Minimum 1–5 years of teaching or research experience is preferred.
- Candidates with relevant undergraduate teaching and laboratory experience will be given preference.

Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of Physics concepts and practical applications.
- Excellent teaching, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct and supervise Physics laboratory sessions.
- Research orientation
