Manager / Senior Manager US Tax Compliance

Location: Pune

Experience: 8–15 Years

Key Responsibilities
- Review and manage US Tax Compliance engagements for Partnership (1065), S-Corporation (1120S), and/or C-Corporation (1120) tax returns.
- Review workpapers, tax returns, and supporting documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
- Manage client deliverables while meeting turnaround time and quality expectations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing technical guidance on US Federal, State, and International Tax matters.
- Research complex tax issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members through regular feedback and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with Managing Directors and senior leadership on tax planning and engagement strategy.
- Maintain strong client relationships and participate in client discussions and review meetings.
- Ensure compliance with firm quality control standards and regulatory requirements.

Mandatory Skills
- 8+ years of experience in US Tax Compliance.




- Solid experience reviewing and/or preparing:
- Form 1065 (Partnership Returns)
- Form 1120S (S-Corporation Returns)
- Form 1120 (C-Corporation Returns)
- Strong knowledge of US Federal and State Tax.
- Experience in International Tax is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with tax software such as:
- CCH Axcess (Preferred)
- GoSystem Tax RS
- Thomson Reuters OneSource
- Client-facing experience is mandatory.
- Team handling and review experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- US CPA
- Enrolled Agent (EA)
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
