We are looking for a qualified and experienced Advocate specializing in GST Litigation to represent the firm before GST authorities and handle end-to-end litigation matters. The ideal candidate should possess strong drafting and representation skills, be well-versed with GST laws and procedures, and be capable of independently managing matters across various GST departments in Delhi NCR.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and file replies to GST notices, show cause notices, and departmental communications.
- Prepare appeals, submissions, written responses, and other legal documents under the GST law.
- Represent clients before GST authorities during hearings and departmental proceedings.
- Coordinate with GST officers and departments for assessments, investigations, adjudications, and other litigation matters.
- Handle GST litigation cases across various GST departments in Delhi NCR.
- Conduct legal research and provide practical opinions on GST-related issues.
- Keep clients and internal teams updated on the status of litigation matters.
- Stay updated with amendments, notifications, circulars, and judicial pronouncements relating to GST.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council and authorized to practice as an Advocate.
- Prior experience in GST litigation and indirect tax matters is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST laws, procedures, and departmental practices.
Required Skills
- Excellent drafting and legal writing skills.
- Robust communication and representation abilities.
- Ability to independently handle litigation matters and client interactions.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal documentation.
