About The Role
We are looking for a
hands-on Tech Lead (Java Spring Boot)
to join our
Search & Personalization
team. This is a business-critical role responsible for driving the development and technical ownership of platforms that power the buyer experience across Search, Personalization, Mobile APIs, Digital Marketing, AdTech, WRS, and IMS.

The ideal candidate is a solid backend engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering problems, writing high-quality code, and leading by example. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to build scalable, high-performance systems that serve millions of users.

What You'll Do
- Lead the design, development,



and delivery of scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Take end-to-end ownership of critical engineering initiatives from design through production.
- Remain highly hands-on, contributing to architecture, coding, code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Build and enhance microservices powering Search, Personalization, Mobile APIs, Digital Marketing, AdTech, WRS, and IMS.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices, clean code, and design excellence.
- Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and operational stability through monitoring and continuous improvements.
- Drive technical discussions, estimate effort, and contribute to sprint planning and execution.
