Instrumentation & Control Engineer: 5-6 years of experience
Meptagon is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control Design Engineer for Coimbatore location with positive attitude & cheerful outlook who is highly motivated to join our team.
-BOMs and Bulk MTOs
- I&C; philosophies and concepts
- Perform sizing & specification of field instruments & control valves.
- Design PLC-based control cabinets, junction boxes, hazardous area wiring, cable trays & control cable systems.
- Review contract specifications, prepare technical queries & ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Participate in P&ID; reviews, 3D model reviews & interdisciplinary design reviews.
- Knowledge of International Codes Standards like ISA, IEEE, IEC, NEC, ISO, DIN, IS.
- Deliver engineering outputs within project schedules while coordinating effectively with multidisciplinary& cross-functional teams.
Capabilities & Experience:
- B.E. - Instrumentation (or) Electrical Engineering with min. 5 years of experience in I&C; design for EPC/process industry projects.
- Hands-on experience in:
- PLC control cabinet design
- Detailed field engineering, junction box design, cable tray design, cable routing, and control
cable specification
- Hazardous area wiring de
