Senior Executive EXIM (Export Import Documentation & Operations)

About the Role

Support import and export operations through timely documentation and coordination.

Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and maintain import/export shipping documents.
- Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA), freight forwarders, transporters, and shipping lines for smooth shipment execution.
- Track shipments and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders.
- Verify commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, Bills of Entry (BOE), and other shipping documents for accuracy.
- Coordinate customs clearance activities and ensure timely processing of import/export documentation.
- Prepare and manage DGFT-related documentation and support compliance requirements.
- Generate and utilize ICEGATE and RoDTEP scrips as per applicable regulations.
- Verify applicability of anti-dumping duties and maintain related documentation.
- Coordinate submission of documents to banks, customs authorities, and other regulatory agencies.
- Maintain shipment records, documentation,



and MIS reports with accuracy.
- Ensure proper filing, record management, and data entry for all import/export transactions.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Sales, Planning, Finance, Stores, and Logistics to ensure timely shipment execution.
- Support the Functional Manager in day-to-day EXIM operations and process improvements.
- Perform other EXIM-related activities assigned by the Functional Manager.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. Total years’ experience:
5 to 8 years
of experience.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of import/export documentation and shipping procedures.
- Understanding of customs regulations, DGFT, and foreign trade policies.
- Familiarity with Bills of Entry (BOE), Shipping Bills, Letter of Credit (LC), and bank documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems.
