Required Skills
- Good understanding of mechanical drawings and tolerances
- Strong knowledge of machine assembly and fitting practices
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of bearings, shafts, couplings, belts, chains, gearboxes, and linear-motion systems
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of machining and fabrication processes
- Basic understanding of PLC, sensors, motors, servo systems, and electrical control
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Machine Assembly
- Assemble complete SPM and automation machines according to mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and bill of materials.
- Assemble machine frames,



structures, guards, conveyors, fixtures, slides, gantries, rotary systems, and indexing mechanisms.
- Install mechanical components such as:
- Linear guides and bearings
- Ball screws and lead screws
- Gearboxes and motors
- Couplings and pulleys
- Timing belts and chains
- Pneumatic cylinders
- Grippers and actuators
- Sensors and mounting brackets
- Jigs and fixtures
- Ensure correct tightening, fitment, lubrication, and installation of all components.

2. Drawing and BOM Verification
- Study and understand mechanical drawings before starting assembly.
- Verify dimensions, hole locations, tolerances, component orientation, and assembly sequence.
- Check received parts against the bill of materials.
- Report missing, incorrect, damaged, or mismatched parts to the design, purchase, or production team.
- Highlight drawing errors and suggest practical assembly improvements.
