Job Purpose

The Center Manager is responsible for the end-to-end operationalization and sustained management of the FICCI–BMC Skill Development Centre at Kandivali, Mumbai. The position exists to ensure that the centre functions as a world-class, industry-integrated skilling hub—delivering career counselling, domain-specific training, reskilling, and structured placement facilitation to young people, females, and working populations in the region.

The incumbent is accountable for building and sustaining a robust network of industry partners, managing Centre operations within defined financial parameters,



driving training and placement outcomes, and ensuring the Centre achieves operational self-sustainability within a defined timeline – all within the framework of the tripartite MoU between FICCI, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and a Public Institution.

Key Responsibilities

•End-to-end operational management of the Skill Development Centre including governance, program delivery, administration and compliance

•Identification, outreach, negotiation and onboarding of industry partners; structuring and executing MoUs with large corporates across target sectors

•Supervision and coordination of Centre refurbishment, infrastructure commissioning and fit out liaison with architects and vendors

•Oversight of industry partner training labs, space allocation and adherence to Centre operational standards

•Design and implementation of a candidate mobilization strategy to ensure consistent training
