To ensure reliable operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of mechanical equipment in the Stock Preparation area, minimizing downtime and supporting safe, effective, and quality-focused tyre production.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Operations
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of stock preparation equipment.
- Ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability.
- Monitor machine performance and identify potential failures.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize production interruptions.
Equipment Maintenance
Maintain and troubleshoot:
- Banbury/Internal Mixers
- Intermix machines
- Two-Roll Mills
- Batch-off units
- Conveyors and material handling systems
- Extruders and feeding systems
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Gearboxes, pumps, compressors, and motors
- Dust collection and ventilation systems
lubrication, and equipment condition.
- Support TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.
- Follow Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance activities.
- Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.
- Maintain compliance with ISO, TPM, and environmental standards.
- Planning & Documentation
- Prepare maintenance schedules and shutdown plans.
- Maintain maintenance records in CMMS/SAP.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement requirements.
- Generate maintenance reports and KPIs.
Team Coordination
- Supervise technicians and contractors.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and utility departments.
- Train operators and maintenance personnel on equipment care and best practices.
