- Factory Compliance / Statutory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements at the plant level, keeping records current and audit-ready.
- Ensure settlement of PF pension cases with the RPFC, including follow-ups and closure of pending matters.
- Track regulatory updates and implement required process or documentation changes in a timely manner.
- Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure timely filings, renewals, submissions, and compliance responses.
- Industrial Relations (IR) / Employee Relations (ER)
- Maintain harmonious industrial relations and address employee grievances through structured resolution and communication.
- Support implementation of the site’s employee relations philosophy and strategy, ensuring consistency and fairness.
- Handle legal/court cases (Labour / Industrial / High Court) by coordinating with advocates and internal stakeholders; manage documentation and timely submissions.
- Manage disciplinary matters, including drafting advisory, warning, show-cause,
and charge-sheet letters and coordinating domestic enquiry processes as required.
- Contractual Management and Compliance
- Oversee compliance for factory and vendor contracts, ensuring all statutory and regulatory requirements are met for contract labour engagement.
- Coordinate with vendors and their supervisors for deployment of contractual workers as per operational requirements.
- Support hiring/onboarding of contractual workers and ensure availability across shifts as per budgeted headcount.
- Manage attendance for contractual employees through Spectra – CLMS and ensure accuracy for wage processing and compliance.
- Engagement of Apprentices (NATS & NAPS)
- Recruit Graduate and ITI Apprentices as per quota allotted under the Apprentice Act and applicable schemes (NATS/NAPS).
