Geospatial Developer Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Geospatial Developer to join nxzen global. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable geospatial applications, APIs, and data pipelines that support business-critical GIS solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable,



and high-performing geospatial services while contributing to engineering best practices and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application & Service Development
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain geospatial applications, APIs, and service components.
- Deliver end-to-end features, including implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Apply secure-by-design principles when developing and configuring services and integrations.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, availability, and reliability.

2. Data Pipelines & Automation
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines for spatial and non-spatial data processing.
- Implement data validation, schema transformations, and robust error-handling mechanisms.
- Automate data processing and system integration workflows using established engineering practices.
- Continuously improve data pipeline performance, scalability, and reliability.
