Role & responsibilities
- Overall support within Sourcing department on technical questions on electronic components
- Actively promote, suggest and evaluate alternatives and second sources for components to improve cost and resilience
- Support in BOM-data transfer projects
- Ensure complete and correct component data in internal systems
- Evaluate and suggest alternative usage of non-moving component stock
- Component PCN administration from Sourcings side
- Supporting component lifecycle challenges in existing products and suggesting alternatives to divisions
- Suggest and evaluate components for cost reduction initiatives
- Support sourcing strategic common agenda to secure continuous supplier partnership and contribution to innovation.




- Support in the qualification of current and/or alternate sources of supply as necessary to support new product development, cost reduction requirements, and/or supplier performance issues.

Preferred candidate profile
- Degree in Electronics Engineering
- Experience working with electronic components, preferably in a sourcing, component engineering or hardware development role, minimum 5 years
- Experience with component lifecycle management and obsolescence handling
- Experience with cost-reduction activities and supporting production transfers
- Familiarity with ERP/PLM systems and component databases is an advantage
- Comfortable working in cross-functional and international teams
