Role & responsibilities

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Role Overview
- Breakdown maintenance for Overall Asset , Equipment & Utilities.
- Preventive Maintenance Planning and work completion
- Job allocation and monitoring for Fitter & Electricians
- Evaluating work status of PM,AMC parties
- Preparation of PM, AMC Schedule & Implementation
- Over all Utility Maintenance (UPS, Chiller unit, RO Plant, STP Plant, Compressor ,Forklift & reach truck )work carried out as per schedule Maintenance Critical Spares
- Current Equipment's loading/unloading, Erection, Re-erection work
- Airline plumbing, water line plumbing, Electrification & fabrication works following
- Materials Purchase indent raise & Material follow-up
- Coordination with Chief Electrical Inspectorate for Rule 45 & 32 Inspection & Drawings coordination work




- Coordination with TNEB Officials for Overall EB Related works
- Power Monitoring in HT Transformer, Eb yard, Power House, MV Panel & all Machines / Equipment's / Utilities
- Co-coordinating ISO, 5's & TPM Activities
- Maintaining ISO standards, Reports & documents
- Budget preparation for future year with present list of Assets, AMC, Pm & Evaluation for past year Budget expense
- To Maintain Asset register should be Evaluated with FA Register
- To Maintain Inventory turn ratio
- Development activities to Implement for Small Automations
- To reduce Power cost, Manpower.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with minimum 5+ years of experience in the above mentioned role
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance/ Electrical maintenance within manufacturing/automotive industries.
