Role Overview
We're looking for a Junior Backend Developer to join our remote team for a short-term internship. You'll get hands-on exposure to building and maintaining server-side logic, APIs, and databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Help develop and maintain server-side application logic
- Support the design and implementation of RESTful APIs
- Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Debug and resolve backend issues and performance bottlenecks
What We're Looking For
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Working knowledge of at least one backend language/framework (Node.js, Python/Django, Java/Spring, or similar)
- Basic understanding of databases such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Familiarity with API design principles
- Personal laptop and reliable internet connection
