Role Summary
Looking for an experienced EMIR Engineer to drive power integrity signoff (IR Drop & Electromigration) for advanced-node SoCs, ensuring robust PDN design and tapeout readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Static & Agile IR drop analysis and EM checks
- Identify and fix IR/EM violations and hotspots
- Optimize power grid (straps, mesh, decaps)
- Work with VCD/SAIF activity for dynamic analysis
- Collaborate with PD, STA, and package teams
- Deliver EMIR signoff reports and closure
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in EMIR / Power Integrity
- Hands-on with tools: RedHawk / Voltus / PrimeRail
- Good understanding of PDN design and advanced nodes (7nm/5nm preferred)
- Scripting knowledge (Python/Tcl) is a plus
