Role Description
The Prosthetist & Orthotist will provide comprehensive clinical services, including assessment, design, fitting, and adjustment of prosthetic legs and post fitting prosthetic training for patients with diverse needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing detailed patient evaluations, conducting gait analysis, collaborating with medical and rehabilitation teams, and ensuring appropriate device selection and customization. The role involves counseling patients and caregivers on device use, maintenance, and safety,



while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and adhering to professional and regulatory standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai,

Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in Prosthetics and Orthotics, including evaluation, device design, fitting, and follow-up care.
- Proficiency in Gait Analysis and biomechanical assessment to inform treatment planning and device optimization.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality Patient Care, including clear communication, empathy, and patient education.
- Foundational knowledge in Medicine relevant to rehabilitation, musculoskeletal conditions, and assistive technologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics from a recognized institution; relevant professional certification or registration as applicable.
- Experience working in clinical or hospital settings, preferably with exposure to rehabilitation or assistive technology environments.
