Course Overview
The
User Interface Implementation (661)
course explores the development of user interfaces across mobile, desktop, and web platforms. Students gain hands-on experience in
cross-platform UI development, accessibility compliance, usability testing, AI-assisted design, and professional project documentation
. Faculty guide graduate-level students in designing real-world applications while applying modern development frameworks.

Required Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in cross-platform frameworks such as React, Flutter, React Native, or Electron.
- Experience applying accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 Level AA)



and implementing robust software testing and QA practices.
- Knowledge of usability testing, user research, and design documentation (personas, wireframes, VPAT reports).

Education Jobs
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Figma AI, Copilot) and asynchronous cooperative workflows.
- Industry experience in UI design, accessibility engineering, or full-stack development is desirable.
- Experience teaching adult learners online strongly preferred.
