Role Description
The Videographer cum Editor is a full-time, on-site role based at Edwin Academy in Kannur/Kozhikode. The role involves planning and producing video content for courses, marketing campaigns, and social media channels, including filming in classrooms, studios, and on-campus locations. Daily tasks include operating cameras, setting up lighting and audio, capturing high-quality footage, and organizing media files. The Videographer cum Editor will edit videos,



add graphics and basic motion elements, sync audio, and ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and educational objectives. The role also includes collaborating with trainers and the marketing team to develop creative concepts and optimizing video assets for online platforms.

Qualifications
- Robust video production skills, including planning, shooting, and post-production for educational and promotional content.
- Proficiency in camera operation, including DSLR or mirrorless cameras, and understanding of camera settings for different environments.
- Practical knowledge of lighting techniques for indoor and outdoor shoots to ensure clear, well-lit video output.
- Hands-on experience shooting video, including framing, composition, and steady handheld or tripod-based filming.
- Ability to use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools) and basic aud
