Senior Test Engineer (Mobile and Connected Vehicle Services & UI/UX)

Role Summary:

Lead quality assurance activities for Mobile and Connected Vehicle Services applications across Android and iOS platforms. The role is responsible for defining and executing quality strategies, test planning, test automation, defect management, release validation, and user acceptance support.

The resource must possess strong expertise in mobile application testing and a positive understanding of UI/UX principles, usability, accessibility, and mobile design best practices. The role requires hands-on use of AI tools to improve testing productivity while ensuring that all AI-generated outputs are reviewed, validated, and compliant with quality, security, and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quality assurance activities across the complete software development lifecycle.
- Define test strategies, test plans, test cases, regression suites, and release validation processes.




- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
- Execute testing across Android and iOS devices covering multiple device models, screen sizes, and OS versions.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites.
- Manage defect lifecycle activities including defect identification, triage, reporting, prioritization, and closure validation.
- Partner closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Specification Owners to clarify requirements and improve test coverage.
- Review business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications to ensure testability and completeness.
- Support release planning, production validation, and quality sign-off activities.
- Validate UI implementation against approved designs, design systems, usability principles, and accessibility standards.
