Role & responsibilities

Strategy Providing direction to achieve long-term and short-term objectives
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies focused on improving equipment reliability, maximizing machine availability, and supporting production targets in alignment with business objectives.
- Establish structured preventive and predictive maintenance systems to minimize unplanned breakdowns, enhance equipment life, and improve overall operational stability.
- Drive maintenance cost optimization through effective spare-parts management, vendor rationalization, and energy-efficiency initiatives without compromising equipment performance.
- Partner with production, quality, and technical teams for capacity enhancement, technology upgradation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the spinning unit.

Operations Executing strategies to achieve business goals
- Plan and execute day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure uninterrupted operation of spinning machinery, utilities, and supporting systems.
- Lead and manage maintenance manpower and contractors,



ensuring timely breakdown handling, preventive maintenance execution, and effective shutdown planning.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety norms, statutory requirements, and company policies by conducting regular audits, safety drills, and skill-based trainings.
- Analyze breakdown trends, machine performance data, and root-cause failures to implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions, improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification & Experience
- Educational Qualification: B.Tech in Textile Technology (mandatory).
- Experience: 10 to 20 years of relevant maintenance experience in a spinning manufacturing unit, with solid exposure to ring frames, preparatory machines, utilities, and plant maintenance systems.
- Proven experience in leading maintenance teams, handling breakdowns, preventive maintenance planning, and supporting high-volume spinning operatio
