Role & responsibilities
- Lead execution of Iron Mining, BMHS, and large-scale Earthwork projects from planning to commissioning.
- Develop project execution plans, work schedules, manpower deployment, equipment mobilization, and resource planning.
- Manage mine development activities, excavation, overburden removal, ore handling, and haul road construction.
- Execute Bulk Material Handling System (BMHS) projects including:
- Belt Conveyors
- Crusher Plants
- Screening Plants
- Transfer Towers
- Wagon Loading Systems
- Stacker Reclaimers
- Stockyards
- Pipe Conveyors (where applicable)
- Supervise large-scale earthwork involving cutting, filling, grading, embankments, and land development.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, cost, quality, and schedule.
- Ensure adherence to project budgets and profitability targets.
- Coordinate with clients,



consultants, EPC contractors, vendors, and statutory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with DGMS, MoEF&CC;, Pollution Control Board, Mines Act, and other applicable regulations.
- Drive HSE initiatives and ensure implementation of company safety standards.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and construction methodologies.
- Conduct project review meetings and prepare MIS reports for senior management.
- Manage contractual obligations, variation orders, claims, and billing.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure successful commissioning and handover of completed projects.
