Job Summary

Heungkuk India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and motivated NPD Engineer /Asst manager to join our Quality New Product Development (NPD) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing new product development activities, ensuring APQP compliance, coordinating with customers and cross-functional teams, and supporting successful product launches while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead New Product Development (NPD) activities from project initiation to mass production.
- Coordinate with customers, design, production, quality, and suppliers during new product development.
- Prepare and maintain APQP documentation.
- Develop and submit PPAP documents to customers.
- Prepare Control Plans, PFMEA, Process Flow Diagrams, Work Instructions, and Inspection Standards.




- Conduct feasibility studies for recent products and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate trial runs, pilot production, and process validation.
- Ensure customer requirements are implemented throughout product development.
- Monitor product quality during development and implement corrective actions where required.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and implement CAPA.
- Coordinate customer audits, internal audits, and process audits.
- Work closely with Production, PPC, Maintenance, Purchase, and Supplier Quality teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen activities.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
- Prepare project status reports and ensure timely completion of development milestones.

Qualification
- B.E./B.Tec in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering
