Role Description

The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will lead the overall HR strategy and operations for Esse India, ensuring that people practices align with business objectives and support sustainable growth. This full time,
on-site role is based in Abroad
and involves overseeing HR policies, workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement. The CHRO will collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement HR initiatives, drive organizational development, and maintain compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations. Daily responsibilities include managing HR teams, advising managers on employee relations matters, guiding change management efforts, and fostering an inclusive, high-performance workplace culture. The CHRO will also be responsible for monitoring HR metrics, optimizing HR processes, and championing professional development programs across the organization.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Human Resources (HR), including strategic HR leadership and HR operations management.




- Strong experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining HR Policies aligned with legal requirements and organizational goals.
- Proven ability in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, mediation, and fostering a positive, inclusive work workplace.
- Solid background in Talent Management, including workforce planning, recruitment, succession planning, and employee development.
- Hands-on experience in Performance Management, including setting performance standards, evaluating outcomes, and driving continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Experience in professional services or consulting environments is an advantage.
