Position Title: HRIS Specialist

Location: Chennai, India

Role Summary

The HRIS Specialist is responsible for the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role supports HR operations, enhances data integrity, enables workforce analytics, and ensures compliance with statutory and internal governance requirements. The position plays a critical role in supporting SAP SuccessFactors and related HR technology platforms across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. HRIS Implementation, Administration & System Management
- Implement SF modules like ATS, compensation, leave, etc
- Administer and maintain SAP SuccessFactors and related HR systems.
- Manage system configurations, workflows, roles, permissions, and organizational structures.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, patches, and testing activities.
- Troubleshoot HRIS-related issues and coordinate with IT and vendors for resolution.
- Ensure seamless integration with payroll, time & attendance, and other enterprise systems.

Process Improvement & System Optimization
- Identify opportunities to automate HR processes and improve system efficiency.
- Partner with HR stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Lead or support HR technology implementation and enhancement projects.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, SOPs, and process maps.

3. Data Management & HR Analytics
- Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and governance within HR systems.
- Develop and generate dashboards, reports, and analytics using tools such as:
- SAP SuccessFactors reporting
- Power BI
- Advanced Excel
- Support workforce planning, compensation reviews, headcount tracking, and compliance reporting.
- Manage organizational hierarchy and reporting relationships within the system.

4. User Support & Training
- Provide HRIS training and support to HR teams, managers, and employees.
