- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend forecasting to guide collection planning.
- Define product mix, pricing strategy, and SKU planning for each collection.
- Ensure an optimal balance between creativity, commercial viability, and brand positioning.
Collection Development & Buying
- Collaborate with design and product development teams to conceptualize new collections.
- Select and curate lab-grown diamond and colorstone jewelry that aligns with brand aesthetic.
- Ensure effective product assortment planning across different collections and price points.
- Monitor sell-through rates and customer feedback to optimize future collections.
Inventory & Demand Management
- Plan and manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock positions.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of recent launches.
- Analyze sales performance data and adjust reorders, markdowns, and promotions accordingly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing teams to align merchandising with campaign narratives and product storytelling.
- Work with visual merchandising teams to ensure impactful in-store and online product presentation.
- Collaborate with sales teams to gather insights on customer preferences and improve product performance.
Data Analysis & Performance Tracking
- Monitor sales performance, product margins, and profitability to drive business growth.
- Identify best-selling and slow-moving SKUs, making recommendations for adjustments.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports to present key findings and action plans.
Supplier & Vendor Coordination
- Liaise with gemstone suppliers, manufacturers, and artisans to ensure high-quality production.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and order quantities with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing and quality standards.
