The Role
- Own meaningful parts of the product end to end, from interface to services to what ships.
- Help set the engineering standards and conventions the next hires will inherit.
- Move quickly while keeping quality high, because early technical decisions compound.
- Work directly with the founder on priorities and trade-offs.

What You Will Do
- Build and ship features across the full stack, front end and back end.
- Own quality end to end: tests, performance, and clean, readable code.
- Shape architecture decisions and the team's engineering conventions.




- Turn rough ideas into shipped, polished work on a short cycle.
- Fix, refactor, and improve what you build rather than handing it off.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years building and shipping production web applications.
- Strong with a modern TypeScript or JavaScript stack (React and Node or similar).
- Solid database and API fundamentals.
- Proven track record owning features end to end, not just isolated tasks.
- Comfortable in an early-stage environment where you decide as much as you build.

Preferred
- Experience as a founding or early engineer at a startup.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure basics: deployment, containers, reverse proxies.
- An eye for product and design, not only code.
