Role Summary

The Senior Project Engineer MEP is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing MEP activities for construction projects. The role involves ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, cost control, and adherence to safety standards across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Location: Tiruvallur, Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution Coordination: Manage day-to-day MEP site activities and ensure alignment with project timelines. Coordinate with architects, civil teams, consultants, and subcontractors for smooth execution. Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy. Supervise installation of HVAC, firefighting, electrical, plumbing, and ELV systems.
- Planning Monitoring: Prepare work schedules and monitor progress against milestones. Track project deliverables and ensure timely completion of MEP activities. Identify risks and delays and propose corrective actions.
- Quality Compliance: Ensure all MEP works comply with project specifications, local regulations, and safety standards.



Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on installation works. Ensure proper documentation such as inspection reports, checklists, and test reports.
- Vendor Contractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for materials, manpower, and execution plans. Review and certify contractor work progress and bills. Ensure contractor adherence to quality and safety norms.
- Procurement Support: Assist procurement team in vendor selection and technical evaluation. Review material submittals and ensure timely approvals.
- Testing Commissioning: Oversee testing and commissioning of all MEP systems. Ensure systems are functioning as per design requirements and standards. Support handing over documentation and snag closure.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure implementation of safety practices in office. Conduct toolbox talks and enforces safety guidelines. Monitor compliance with HSE policie
