The Accounts Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting transactions, supporting statutory compliance, preparing financial reports, and ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts. The role involves coordinating with internal departments, vendors, banks, and auditors while ensuring compliance with hospital financial policies and regulatory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Operations
- Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Prepare and post journal entries, payment vouchers, and receipt vouchers.
- Maintain the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
- Verify invoices, bills, and supporting documents before processing payments.
- Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of fixed assets and depreciation.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate for timely collections.
- Maintain customer and vendor account records.
Bank & Cash Management
- Perform daily bank reconciliation.
- Maintain petty cash records and ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare cash flow reports as required.
- Coordinate with banks for routine banking transactions.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Assist in GST calculations, filing, and reconciliation.
- Support TDS deduction, payment, and return filing.
- Maintain statutory records and documentation.
- Assist during internal, statutory, and tax audits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and hospital policies.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial summaries.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Generate reports required by management.
