Role & responsibilities

We are hiring a Solar Sales Executive for the residential segment to drive rooftop solar sales by generating leads, meeting homeowners, explaining savings and subsidy perks, and converting inquiries into confirmed orders. Residential rooftop sales roles commonly involve customer visits, basic site assessment, proposal discussion, and coordination with installation teams for smooth closure.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate residential leads through field visits, references, local marketing, housing societies, electricians, and digital inquiries.
- Meet homeowners and explain rooftop solar benefits, electricity bill savings, ROI, financing options, and subsidy-related processes.
- Conduct basic site visits to capture roof details, sanctioned load, shadow conditions, and customer energy requirements.
- Coordinate with the technical team for feasibility, system sizing, and proposal preparation.
- Present quotations, follow up regularly, handle objections, and close sales within target timelines.
- Support customers with documentation required for subsidy,



net metering, and installation readiness.
- Maintain lead records, follow-up status, and sales progress in CRM or Excel.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and build referral business through strong customer relationships.

Preferred candidate profile
- Candidate with prior solar sales experience will be preferred.
- Experience in rooftop solar (Residential / C&I;) will be given priority over other sales backgrounds.
- Exposure to DISCOM processes, net metering, or solar EPC sales will be an added advantage.
- Graduate in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA is an advantage for B2B sales roles.
- Minumum 1 years of experience in solar EPC, industrial sales, electrical equipment, energy solutions, or B2B technical sales.
- Solid presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills with decision-makers.
- Good understanding of C&I; energy consumption patterns, commercial proposals
