Job Summary
The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all dispatch activities to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of finished goods to customers. The role ensures compliance with customer schedules, quality standards, safety requirements, and company policies while maintaining inventory accuracy and transportation efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily dispatch operations as per customer delivery schedules.
- Ensure on-time dispatch of finished goods to OEM customers.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning (PPC), Warehouse, and Quality departments for smooth dispatch.
- Verify dispatch documents, including:
- Delivery Challan
- Tax Invoice
- E-Way Bill
- Packing List
- Transport Documents
- Monitor loading and unloading activities to prevent product damage.
- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) and proper stock rotation.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and inventory reconciliation.
- Coordinate with transporters for vehicle availability and timely dispatch.




- Track shipments and resolve transportation-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific packaging and labeling requirements.
- Maintain 5S standards in the dispatch area.
- Ensure compliance with safety (EHS) procedures during loading operations.
- Investigate dispatch discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports.
- Supervise dispatch staff and contract workers.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure employee discipline.
