Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior MEAN/MERN Stack Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in the MEAN/MERN stack, have experience working with video/audio players and streaming technologies, and be capable of providing technical guidance to team members.
The candidate should demonstrate robust problem-solving skills, ownership of technical solutions, and the ability to mentor developers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MEAN/MERN stack.
- Develop high-performance, responsive user interfaces using Angular or React.js.
- Build secure, scalable, and optimized backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design and optimize MongoDB schemas, queries, and indexes.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Work on video/audio player integration, customization, and optimization for web applications.
- Integrate streaming technologies such as HLS, MPEG-DASH, and DRM solutions where applicable.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct technical reviews, and assist the team in resolving technical challenges.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
