Position: Manager EXIM & Customs Compliance
Grade: 5 to 8

Job Purpose

To manage and ensure compliance with all Import-Export (EXIM), Customs, SEZ, and MOOWR regulations, facilitate smooth import and export operations, and act as the key liaison with regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities
- Study, monitor, and interpret changes in SEZ, Customs, Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), and other EXIM regulations, and communicate updates to the team on a regular basis.
- Lead and manage the EXIM team in executing import and export procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Customs, SEZ, and MOOWR regulations.
- Oversee customs documentation, shipping documents, and statutory filings.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, Customs House Agents (CHA), shipping lines, and logistics partners.
- Handle Customs, SEZ, and internal audits and ensure timely submission of required documents.
- Serve as the primary contact for external authorities, including Customs officials,



SEZ authorities, DGFT, and other regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of import and export activities.
- Review and improve EXIM processes and internal controls.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Additional certification in EXIM, Customs, or Foreign Trade will be an added advantage.

Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EXIM and Customs operations.
- Experience in a Customs House Agent (CHA) organization or an SEZ unit is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in handling Customs audits and regulatory compliance activities.
