About the Team

The Network Operations L2 team is responsible for supporting and maintaining Walmart s large-scale global network infrastructure across stores, distribution centers, data centers, WAN, and core infrastructure services. The team ensures operational excellence, high availability, rapid incident response, and continuous improvement across mission-critical enterprise networking environments.

The team supports:
- Store Networks (Wired & Wireless)
- Distribution Center (DC) Networks




- Data Center Networks
- Global WAN (GWAN)
- DDI Infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)

What You ll Do

Network Operations & Incident Management
- Provide L2 operational support for Walmart s global network infrastructure including:
- Store wired and wireless networks
- Distribution Center networking
- Data Center networking
- GWAN connectivity
- DDI platforms (DNS, DHCP, IPAM)
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents impacting business-critical services.
- Participate in major incident management (MIM) calls and drive technical resolution activities.
- Perform deep root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Collaborate with L1 operations teams for escalations and knowledge transfer.

Technical Leadership
- Act as a technical SME for routing, switching, wireless, WAN, and DDI technologies.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, deployments
