Job Purpose

To provide legal leadership and support across infrastructure, mining, hydro power, and PSP projects by ensuring legal compliance, contract management, litigation handling, risk mitigation, and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Legal Advisory

Advise management on all legal issues relating to infrastructure, mining, hydro power, and PSP projects.

Provide legal opinions on commercial, contractual, statutory, and operational matters.

Interpret laws, policies, government notifications, and judicial pronouncements affecting the business.

2. Contract & Commercial Management

Draft, vet, negotiate, and finalize:

EPC Contracts

Design & Engineering Contracts

Construction Contracts





Consultancy Agreements

Supply & Procurement Contracts

Operation & Maintenance Agreements

Joint Venture Agreements

Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)

Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs)

Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)

Resolve contractual disputes and advise project teams on contract administration.

3. Litigation & Arbitration

Manage litigation before High Courts, Supreme Court, Commercial Courts, Arbitral Tribunals, and NCLT where applicable.

Coordinate with external advocates and legal consultants.

Prepare litigation strategy and oversee pleadings, affidavits, and evidence.

Monitor legal cases and report progress to management.

4. Infrastructure, Mining & PSP Legal Support

Infrastructure Project Support

Provide legal support from project conception to commissioning.

Review bid documents, tender conditions, and procurement procedures.

Handle contractor claims, delay claims, liquidated damages,
