Network Architect / Network Lead - IT Infrastructure & Operations | This is a senior, high-impact role within the IT Infrastructure & Operations team at BMW Techworks India — one of India's fastest-growing Automotive GCCs with a globally connected network spanning multiple sites and cloud environments. As Network Architect, you will be the single owner of the entire network architecture — from core campus switching and SD-WAN to cloud-native networking and network security — supporting thousands of engineers, developers, and business professionals. You will have the prospect to build a best-in-class network practice, drive automation, and set the network architecture standards that will scale with the GCC's ambitious growth plans.

1. Network Architecture Design & Governance
- Own the end-to-end design, documentation, and continuous evolution of IT network architecture — spanning LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, and cloud network connectivity — for BMW Techworks India's fast-growing, globally connected Automotive GCC.




- Establish and enforce network architecture governance; ensure no network changes are implemented without proper impact assessment, peer review, and Change Advisory Board (CAB) approval.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network architecture blueprints, topology diagrams, configuration runbooks, and IPAM documentation.
- Define network design standards, naming conventions, and configuration baselines; ensure all infrastructure adheres to BMW Group global network policies.

2. Switching, Routing & Core Network Management
- Architect and manage enterprise-grade switching and routing infrastructure (Cisco / Juniper / Arista); design for high availability, redundancy, and failover with zero-tolerance for unplanned downtime.
- Deep expertise in Layer 2/3 protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLAN, STP, RSTP, VRF, MPLS — ensuring optimal performance across the GCC's multi-site environment.
- Lead capacity planning, lifecycle management, and technology refresh for all
