Position : Packing In-charge
Location : Excipient Manufacturing Plant – Nandasan, Mehsana - Gujarat - India.
Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Chemical / Packaging / Mechanical Engineering
Experience : 5 – 6 Years in Pharma / Excipient Manufacturing Industry
Required Languages : Gujarati, Hindi
OBJECTIVE
The Packing In-charge is responsible for overseeing and managing all secondary and primary packing operations within the excipient manufacturing facility. The core objective is to ensure that all finished products are packed in strict compliance with Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and quality standards, while meeting production targets and optimizing operational efficiency.
DETAILED KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operational Planning & Execution
• Develop and execute daily/weekly packing schedules based on the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
• Allocate manpower and resources effectively across various packing lines to maximize output.
• Supervise labeling, batch coding,



and sealing processes to prevent mix-ups and errors.
• Oversee the movement of material from production areas to the packing section and eventually to the finished goods warehouse.
2. Quality Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure 100% adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Perform and verify Line Clearance before the commencement of any packing activity to avoid cross contamination.
• Maintain accurate and real-time documentation, including Batch Packing Records (BPR), daily logs, and cleaning checklists.
• Support Internal and External Audits (e.g., EcoVadis, Regulatory inspections) by providing necessary records and maintaining plant standards.
3. Resource & Material Management
• Monitor the inventory levels of packing materials (Corrugated boxes, liners, labels, drums) to prevent stock-outs.
• Implement strict wastage control measures to minimize material loss during the
