Position : Manager Reporting, Finance
Reporting to : Sr. Manager Reporting & Controlling
Experience : 8 to 10 years of experience in a finance role
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure both in INDAS and IFRS.
- Valuable knowledge of preparation of financial statements under IND AS.
- Managing statutory, Group audits, and IFC audit and ensure completion on time in discussion with auditors.
- Reviewing monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet items, ensuring all balances are appropriately supported.
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information and provide clear, quantifiable cause for change from forecast.
- Ensuring statutory and Group audits are completed on time, liaison with auditors.
- Providing financial summaries and reporting on various aspects of the P&L.;
- Support to FP&A; team for various forecasting activities.
- Collaborates with other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
- Advising the team regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
- Responds to inquiries from the Director of Finance, Controller, and other finance managers regarding financial results.
- Good knowledge of intercompany reconciliation, eCommerce reconciliation, and inventory valuation.
- Assess impact of regulatory changes on business and develop a plan to address the same from the accounting point of view.
People Related
- Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
- Team handling experience would give an additional advantage.
Minimum Requirements
Educational requirement
- Chartered Accountant, preferably first attempt.
Technical Skills
- Four to five years of experience in the relevant field.
- Good knowledge of IND AS, IFRS, and Company Law.
- Experience in preparing financial statements, liaison with auditors.
