Job Description: Purchase Executive (Import and Local Purchases) Biosystems
Location: Worli, Mumbai Experience: 4+ years
Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and highly organized Purchase Executive with 4+ years of
experience to handle both local and international purchasing processes. The ideal candidate
will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring products and services necessary for
the smooth functioning of Krishgen Biosystems. This role will involve direct interaction with
vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure the timely and cost-effective
procurement of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management:
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for both local and international
purchases.
Source suppliers and maintain vendor relationships for both import and domestic
products.
Prepare and issue purchase orders for various materials and services required
by different departments.
Import Management:
Coordinate with customs and clearing agents for the timely clearance of imported
goods.




Monitor international shipments, track deliveries, and manage import
documentation.
Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations and import/export
policies.
Supplier Negotiation & Cost Optimization:
Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best
quality at the most competitive prices.
Regularly evaluate suppliers based on performance, cost, and quality.
Explore cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies for procurement
optimization.
- Inventory & Stock Management:
- Maintain optimal stock levels to ensure continuity in operations, avoiding
- overstocking or stockouts.
