The Role
As a Senior Accountant with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc
Oversight and control of General Ledger (GL) activities to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business objectives. Proven expertise in driving process optimization and enhancing operational efficiency.
Month-end closing – GL closure:
Analysis of monthly costs (direct & indirect), corporate and local allocations including a comparison of budget vs actual. This includes review of facilities, software usage, function costs, labor G&A; etc.
Post necessary accrual / provision / reclass entries in GBS / FCC after management approvals.
Present variance analysis to the finance management and operations, explain reasons for change and actions required.
Review reversal of previous month entries and ensure all necessary entries relating to AP, GL, treasury, payroll, prepaid amortization, depreciation etc. are accounted before GL closure.
