A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Guides and represents the company on legislative and regulatory affairs with elected officials and government officials in regulatory agencies.
- Ensures company's product line is reflected to best advantage and lobbying activities are successfully pursued to shape the regulatory workplace.
- Monitors progress of legislative and regulatory issues of interest to the company and provides analysis to company official.
- Develops strategy for and visits elected government and regulatory officials to advise them of company issues.




- Directs and works with designated trade and business associations, advocacy groups on political, legislative and regulatory issues of importance to the company.

SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.
