Afcons Infrastructure Limited is an Indian
multinational construction and engineering company based in Mumbai. The company
provides infrastructure services and is involved in the construction of
infrastructure projects such as viaducts, flyovers, metros, bridges, pipelines,
roads, ports, barrages, oil and gas projects etc.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 01

* Develop detailed instrumentation engineering designs, specifications, and
technical drawings using INTOOLS (SPI) software.
* Coordinate with Process, Electrical, and Mechanical teams to integrate
instrumentation designs into overall project plans.
* Lead technical reviews, including HAZOP studies, to ensure compliance with
international standards (e.g., API, ANSI, ISA).
* Provide expertise in control systems design, including PLC, DCS, and SCADA
integration.
* Specify and procure field instruments such as pressure transmitters, flow
meters, temperature sensors, and control valves.
* Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams.




* Ensure quality assurance and compliance with regulatory requirements and
company standards.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives in instrumentation design and
control systems.

KEY OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB POSITION

* Provide proposal support for multiple proposals simultaneously.
* Prepares and reviews engineering studies, design drawings and documents and
material and equipment specifications. Resolves specialty related engineering
issues by applying accepted principles, codes and standards.
* Prepare check and review ILD, IO counts, P & IDs, Loops, Logical checks etc.
* Involve in Pre-comm, Commissioning activities as necessary at site.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field; Master’s
degree preferred.
* 12-15 years of experience in instrumentation design within the Oil and Gas
industry.
* Solid knowledge of control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA) and their application
in industrial environments.
