Job Description
Ares is seeking a Compliance Technology Developer to join our Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC) Technology engineering team in Mumbai. This role will design, build, and support technology solutions that enable key compliance workflows and controls across the firm. The position reports to a New York-based Engineering Lead and will work closely with global stakeholders, product and engineering partners, and external vendors as needed.




The ideal candidate is a strong software engineer who is an expert-level Pega developer/architect, bringing a proven track record delivering scalable, reliable workflow solutions. Experience in (or exposure to) Legal, Risk, and/or Compliance domains is strongly preferred. This role requires excellent engineering fundamentals, solid SDLC discipline, and a high bar for quality—along with clear communication, attention to detail, and a continuous learning mindset.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and support Pega-based applications and workflows supporting Compliance and broader LRC capabilities, with a focus on scalability, resiliency, and audit-ready outcomes.
