Purpose of the role:
Responsible for working on identified plant level process improvement and
process implementation activities and execution of new product development. Also
provide technical assistance & solutions for smooth running of manufacturing
processes.
Responsibilities:
1. Cycle time improvement: Drive process improvements in identified
manufacturing processes for cycle reduction, Develop and implement solutions
to improve OEE and reduce operator fatigue.
2. Work on Current Product development on channel to ensure right process design
and achieve product characteristics as per SKF specifications. Plan &
execute industrialization for new bearing types.
3. Introduction of new Cutting tools and abrasives (Grinding,Turning & Honing)
for output improvement & cost reduction.
4. Takes part in PFMEA, Control plan and other channel documents for New
Product Development and revision of existing p
